Garnering over 15m views on youtube few months after its release, “Hallelujah Challenge Praise Medley” by Nathaniel Bassey claims the number 3 spot on the gospel music 2021 chart.
The powerful praise single makes its way to this year’s top 10 following the incredible success of the visual in July which garnered over 15M views on Youtube and even went on to become a trending topic on Twitter.

Audio3. Sammie Okposo | My Miracle
Award winning international Gospel music minister Sammie Okposo, following his wonderful year claims the number 3 spot on the gospel music countdown with his evergreen worship single tagged “My Miracle”.
The song came just after Sammie Okposo rounded off the 2nd leg of his USA tour in November.
The iconic Gospel music minister is also billed to feature alongside other international Gospel music acts at the 2022 SOAR Awards at Rockford, Illinois, USA.

“Ascend” was the first single that dropped, following the release of Dunsin Oyekan’s album “The Gospel of the Kingdom.” It followed the release of series of tracks off the album. It was a very timely release as the message followed the move of the Spirit at the said time. It was also before the revival-type program – The Outpouring.

5. Mike Abdul | Baba Ese
Released at the wake of the new year, “Baba Ese” by Urban AfroGospel music legend, Mike Abdul set a new standard with his powerful song of appreciation tagged “Baba Ese”.
Released as Mike Abdul celebrated his birthday earlier in the year, the mid-tempo African traditional folk music with elements of Juju music, featured the Yoruba Mass Choir, and it really just became an international hit and even went ahead to become the most streamed gospel song on BoomPlay.

Audio6. Onos Ariyo | New Dimension
Gospel music minister Onos Ariyo dominated the MinDustry for weeks with the acoustic version of her hit single “No Void”.
“No Void (Acoustic version)” is an audial rendition of this worship song previously released by Minister Onos.
The worship single got bigger everyday, climbing to the top of BoomPlay’s most streamed gospel song of the year, only behind Mike Abdul’s “Baba Ese” and EeZee Conceptz artiste Mercy Chinwo with “Oyoyo Chukwu.”

“Obinigwe” is the second single of the year by EeZee Conceptz signee, Minister GUC since the debut album “The Message” dropped in December of 2020.
The song stirs up gratitude as Minister GUC provokes reflection on God’s goodness.

“Jehovah Overdo” is the crossover single by Chidinma Ekile who got signed to EeZee Conceptz earlier this year, having left mainstream music to focus on her ministry as a music minister. “Congratulations s one of the biggest songs off Ada Ehi’s new album titled “Born of God.” The single features Gospel Reggae legend Buchi. The video was also shot at Buchi’ lounge Culture Yard in Ikeja Lagos.
The song was also featured on Grammys.com Positive Vibes. It is definitely one of the biggest song of the year 2021

Download10. Okey Sokay | Oke Nla Nla
Okey Sokay switched up the game with the first single off his new album titled “Renewed.” The album title is so apt because Okey Sokay experimented with sound – Contemporary Worship music and Urban styles, and it worked beautifully!
“Oke Nla Nla” is one of the result of that experiment. The single featured Pastor Bayo Adeyinka and it is currently doing about 53,000 views on Youtube.
