– Leke Adeboye Blast Pastors Disobeying Thanksgiving Sunday Directive

Leke Adeboye, son of the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG); Pastor Enoch Adeboye, blast pastors who preached their own message after his father’s sermon last Sunday in parishes across the nation.

In RCCG, each first Sunday of the month, all parishes are anticipated to hook up with the Nationwide Headquarters of the church, the place Daddy G.O. delivers the sermon, which is predicted to be the one sermon of the day.

However, it was gathered that some Parish Pastors still go ahead to give their very own sermons after the G.O.’s sermons, a move that led Leke Adeboye, who is also an assistant pastor at RCCG where he serves in the position of the senior personal assistant to his father to react and call out erring pastors.

Leke, through a post on his Instagram page which he has since taken down blast such pastors, describing them as goats.

“Why would you go and preach another sermon after Daddy GO had just finished speaking and preaching. You are not a son, you are a goat sir. Next Thanksgiving service, just do altar call, then Thanksgiving,” he wrote.

The comment has since led to mixed reaction on social media with some even going as far as asking for Leke Adeboye to be  suspension for using such derogatory terms while some factors praised him for addressing the issue head on.

“#rccg should suspend Leke Adeboye for calling ordained pastors #GOAT. What a gut,” @ollynetworker said.

“That’s very rude of you, Leke Adeboye! You are the goat here,” @Joanna8214 tweeted.

@TomisinAmokeoja said, “Two wrongs don’t make a right, Leke Adeboye calling pastors goat was way overboard. Really leaves much to be desired. Always been controversial though. I wonder how he would have reacted if he was the G.O.”

A tweep, @CeciliaOkoroma, said that such a statement was not nice and unexpected from a man of God.

“This is simply not too nice a statement from ‘man of God’ and in particular, son of G.O RCCG,” she tweeted.
