– Kanye West Wins Big At Billboard Music Awards 2022

American rapper and professing Christian Kanye West last year’s gospel themed album, “Donda” continues to break more boundaries, this time sweeping home 6 awards at the just concluded Billboard Music Awards 2022.

The outspoken rapper and entrepreneur was nominated for six awards at the Billboard Music Awards 2022, including; Top Christian Artist, Top Gospel Artist, Top Christian Album, Top Gospel Album, Top Christian Song and Top Gospel Song.

He won all of them, sweeping every category in the faith-based music genre.

The award held at the MGM Grand Arena in Las Vegas on Sunday while the results for those categories where announced through the non-televised portion of the awards show.

Kanye edged the likes of Elevation Worship, for King & Country and Lauren Daigle to cliched the award for Top Gospel Album award while also winning other top categories like Top Gospel Artist & Gospel Song, his song “Hurricane” won the award for Top Christian Song.

The gospel themed project is his 10th studio project and his second gospel themed album after “Jesus Is King” which went on to win “Best Contemporary Christian Album” category ahead of Christian music giants like Hillsong Young & Free, at the GRAMMYs.
