– Dolapo Lawal Condemns Migration – Calls It Modern Day Slavery
Senior Pastor of Zoehousehold Global, Dolapo Lawal, condemns the growing migration trend among Nigerians, described it as “modern slavery.”
Speaking during a sermon, Lawal said many Nigerians relocating abroad end up struggling with survival jobs instead of building wealth.
He noted that some even sell their properties in Nigeria only to become tenants overseas.

“How many billionaires do you know in the UK? Most people there are only surviving. Many are doing care jobs just to make ends meet. That is modern slavery,” he said.
According to the cleric, Nigeria still offers better opportunities for wealth creation, insisting that many successful billionaires built their fortunes within the country.
The cleric comments have sparked mixed reactions online, with some agreeing that life abroad can be difficult, while others argued that migration still provides better opportunities and stability.
