Over 700 people answered a Franklin Graham’s “God Loves You” tour in the United Kingdom and dedicated their life back to Christ.
The late Billy Graham’s son traveled round the U.k for a tour in Liverpool, Newport and Sheffield late last month to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ. The CEO and president of Samaritan’s Purse and the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association (BGEA), partnered with over 2000 Christians to make the tour a success in that United Kingdom.
It was reported that over 11,000 people were in attendance and over 700 people dedicated their life to Jesus.
Robert Chilvers said; There is a real sense that we’re here for this time and what Franklin was talking about, we feel very similarly that God has stepped in, and this is a key time for the proclamation of the Gospel, especially emerging out of the pandemic and the results of the pandemic,”
“Emerging from that, we feel very much not only that we have the opportunity, but we can encourage other churches to take the opportunity to proclaim the Gospel boldly and clearly,” he added.
Robert expressed his gratitude towards every church who participated and partnered with them for the success of the tour.
“We’ve been training people in the local churches to lead small groups, we call discovery groups, to which inquiries are referred. It’s encouraging to hear that many churches are establishing these groups especially to care for those who are making a response to the Gospel,” he said.
Graham faced a lot of difficulties in recent times due to his personal believes on marriage and sexuality. The challenges he faced prompted him to continue on his “God Loves You” tour.
