Shay E is an independent Nigerian artist, songwriter and audio engineer. He is also a graduate of the department of mechanical engineering, University of Lagos.
He released his debut EP titled “Relentless” on the 17th of July 2020. Shay E is set to drop his first single of the year titled “God When”.
The single comprises 2 tracks titled “Beautiful Place” and “God When”, and features Lagos-based rapper Tobi Toun as well as Los Angeles based singer and producer El Ayah Moon.

“God When” navigates themes such as the vulnerability, comfort and peace that come with being in a healthy relationship on the first track of the single, “Beautiful Place”.
The second track dissects societal pressure to find a partner and the role of finances in relationships.
Both tracks on the single were engineered, mixed and mastered by Shay E. The cover artwork was also designed by the multi-skilled artist.
