–Enkay Ogboruche A Decade On Stage And Album Launch
Iconic gospel artiste Enkay Ogboruche, on Sunday there 19th of February, 2023 celebrated a decade on stage alongside releasing her new album titled “Declaration” at Orientals Hotels, Lagos state.
The star-studded event which was held at the Orientals Hotels, Lagos, had the likes of Onos Ariyo, Eezee Tee, Judikay and other celebrities in attendance.
Enkay Ogboruche, aka Enkay, is a singer and songwriter. She started singing at the age of 10, as a member of the Assemblies of God choir. She also recorded two albums before releasing her new album yesterday and many hit singles.
Speaking briefly about her teenage years and how she began her singing, Enkay said;
“My birth name is Nkiruka Gift Onuabuobi and was born in Kaduna State in northern Nigeria. And I have four siblings: two brothers and two sisters, and i am the first born child.
”I began singing at the age of 10. Her first recording experience was with a bottle and a spoon in a recording with my father. In my teenage years, i became a born-again Christian.”

Enkay is also a lead vocalist and member of the Tehila Crew, a gospel singing group. She took off in 2015 as a solo artist with a debut album “Kingdom anthem”. The Kingdom anthem was a 10-track album with popular track like “Yes, You Are The Lord”.
Pastor Nnamdi took the opening remark and opening prayer at the event. While Alimbosax took the people in a moment of worship.
A 13 year old saxophonist, Daniel Olubunmi also took to the stage, while he got the audience to praise and worship God with his instrument.
Enkay also performed her new song titled “Delight” with gospel artiste Judikay.
Her husband, Dr. Timothy Ogboruche, took to the stage to address thank the people. He also shared a testimony he had in a dream about his three children.
