-Jerry Eze On Authentic Ministry – “I Am Not A Professional Pastor”
Popular Nigerian pastor and televangelist, Jerry Eze, speaks on authentic ministry, stating that he would rather depart this life than become a “professional” pastor.
He made this known while speaking in a recent interview with Chude Jideonwo.
He said “I’m not a professional pastor, the day I become a professional pastor let God kill me.“
“The day it ceases to be about God and be about Jerry let God close down everything.”
He emphasized that his ministry is driven by a genuine passion for spreading the gospel and serving humanity, rather than mere professionalism.

The clergyman claimed he never planned to get to the point where he is now, noting that true success lies in staying focused on God’s purpose rather than personal recognition.
He said, “I didn’t plan to be here, this is not something you plan that at some point youre going to be big and the world will hear of you.
“I know what my assignment is, I know what God has called me to do and it has consumed me.
“I don’t care what anybody thinks or feels but the encouragement is when I see those smiles and hear those testimonies.”
