– Enoch Adeboye Won’t Protest Against Bola Tinubu – Mike Bamiloye
Renowned filmmaker and founder of Mount Zion Faith Ministries, Mike Bamiloye, has weighed in on the growing debate surrounding calls for Pastor Enoch Adeboye to publicly protest against the administration of President Bola Tinubu amid concerns over insecurity and economic hardship in the country.
In a video shared on social media, Bamiloye questioned the expectations of some Nigerians who believe the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) should lead or participate in protests against the government.
He argued that it is unreasonable to expect an 84-year-old cleric to take on such a role, emphasizing that Pastor Adeboye’s primary calling remains spiritual leadership rather than political activism.

The filmmaker also defended the revered cleric against criticisms that he has remained silent on national issues. According to Bamiloye, Pastor Adeboye has consistently addressed challenges facing the nation through prayers, sermons, and spiritual guidance rather than street demonstrations or partisan political engagement.
His comments come amid renewed discussions online following claims that Adeboye had previously participated in protests during past administrations but has not adopted a similar stance under the current government.
The debate intensified after reports and social media posts questioned the pastor’s response to worsening insecurity and economic challenges across the country.
Enoch Adeboye Won’t Protest
Meanwhile, the RCCG recently dismissed reports suggesting that Pastor Adeboye cancelled a planned protest over insecurity, clarifying that he merely communicated a decision reached by Christian leaders regarding changes to the programme.
The church further maintained that its leader has never endorsed any political party and has consistently encouraged members to exercise their civic rights responsibly.
