– Nigeria Security Agencies Among Best – Apostle Johnson Suleman
Senior Pastor of Omega Fire Ministries International, Apostle Johnson Suleman, has described Nigeria’s security agencies as some of the best in the world.
The cleric made the remark while speaking on the country’s security situation, praising the efforts of the military, the Nigeria Police Force and the Department of State Services (DSS) in tackling insecurity.
According to Suleman, his travels across different countries have exposed him to various security systems, giving him a basis for comparing Nigeria’s security institutions with those of other nations.
“I have been around the world, and I can boldly tell you that the Nigerian Army, the Police and the DSS are among the best in the world,” he said.

The preacher noted that many security personnel risk their lives daily to protect Nigerians from terrorists, bandits, kidnappers and other criminal elements.
He, however, said the country’s insecurity challenges cannot be blamed solely on security operatives. According to him, authorities should focus more attention on identifying and prosecuting those sponsoring and financing terrorism and violent crimes.
Suleman also defended the activities of the DSS, saying many of the agency’s successes are not always made public because intelligence operations are often carried out discreetly.
Nigeria Security Agencies Among Best
While commending security agencies, the cleric called on political leaders to prioritise the safety of citizens and take stronger measures to address insecurity across the country.
His comments have sparked reactions among Nigerians, with some agreeing with his assessment of the security agencies, while others argued that more needs to be done to improve security nationwide.
