– Oyo Student Abduction – Enoch Adeboye Reveals God’s Message

The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adeboye, has recounted what he described as a divine assurance he received over the abduction of Oyo student and teachers.

Speaking during a church programme, Adeboye recalled the anxiety that surrounded the incident and the fervent prayers offered for the safe return of those taken by the abductors.

According to him, while praying over the situation, he sought God’s intervention and direction concerning the fate of the victims. He said he received an assurance that the abducted pupils and teachers would return safely.

The cleric explained that despite the uncertainty surrounding the incident at the time, he held firmly to the assurance he believed he had received from God and encouraged others to remain hopeful. Adeboye said the eventual release of the victims strengthened his faith and served as a reminder of the importance of trusting God even in the most difficult situations.

He also used the occasion to encourage Nigerians to continue praying for the country, especially in the face of persistent insecurity, kidnappings and violent attacks affecting many communities.

The RCCG leader urged citizens not to lose hope despite the nation’s security challenges, expressing confidence that lasting peace and restoration are possible through collective efforts, vigilance and prayer.

His remarks come as concerns continue to grow over recurring cases of abductions across different parts of the country, with renewed calls for stronger measures to protect schools and vulnerable communities.
