– Tonto Dikeh Launches Ministry – New Wine Tabernacle In Abuja
Nollywood actress and evangelist Tonto Dikeh has unveiled a new Christian ministry, the New Wine Prophetic Tabernacle (NWPT), in Abuja.
The actress announced the new spiritual movement on Sunday, describing it as an interdenominational platform dedicated to prayer, revival, spiritual transformation and the raising of believers.
Dikeh described the New Wine Prophetic Tabernacle as an “interdenominational altar, spiritual home, and global movement of consecrated believers.”
The unveiling marks another major step in Dikeh’s increasingly public Christian journey, which has seen the actress embrace the title of Evangelist and speak more openly about her faith and calling.

Earlier this year, Dikeh announced that she would no longer be addressed as “King Tonto,” a name she had used publicly for years. She said the decision was made in obedience to the Holy Spirit and asked people to refer to her as Evangelist Tonto, Tonto Dikeh, Aunty Tonto or simply as a woman of God.
Since then, she has increasingly shared activities connected to evangelism and Christian outreach, including visits to schools and prayer and deliverance sessions.
With the establishment of NWPT, Dikeh appears to be taking the next step in her spiritual journey by creating a platform through which she can reach a wider audience.
The new ministry is based in Abuja and is presented as an interdenominational fellowship rather than a platform restricted to members of a particular church denomination.
Dikeh’s announcement has generated significant reactions online, with many Nigerians commenting on her transformation from one of Nollywood’s most recognisable actresses to a prominent voice in Christian evangelism.
