– Monday Okpebholo Cast Out Demons From Age 17 Or 18 Years
Edo State Governor, Senator Monday Okpebholo, has opened up about his early religious experiences, revealing that he began participating in deliverance activities and casting out demons when he was around 17 or 18 years old.
The governor made the revelation while speaking about his Christian faith and experiences before entering public office.
According to Okpebholo, his involvement in spiritual activities began during his teenage years, when he said he participated in prayers and deliverance sessions.

The governor’s remarks have drawn attention because of his description of an aspect of his life that predates his political career.
Okpebholo has previously spoken publicly about his belief that his efforts against cultism and other social challenges in Edo State are connected to his faith. In June 2025, he said he believed God had sent him to fight cultism in the state.
His comments on his teenage years therefore add another dimension to his public account of his Christian journey and his longstanding interest in confronting spiritual and social issues.
The governor has continued to publicly call for prayers against insecurity, cultism and other challenges facing Edo State and Nigeria. During a 2026 visit to Christ Embassy in Benin City, he urged prayers against kidnapping, cultism and related security threats.

His latest revelation has since generated interest among viewers and followers, particularly because of the unusual nature of his account of becoming involved in deliverance ministry at such a young age.
