A member of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Mrs Olushola Olonode, has shared a remarkable testimony of becoming a mother of quadruplets at the age of 50, less than three years after getting married at 48.
Olonode, who shared her testimony during a church service in Lagos, said she got married for the first time in December 2023 after years of waiting for a life partner.
According to her, having waited so long for marriage, she was determined not to experience another prolonged wait before having children.

She subsequently became pregnant and went for an ultrasound scan, where she was initially told that she was carrying twins.
The news delighted her, as she said she would have been grateful even if she had been carrying just one child. However, subsequent scans brought unexpected developments.
A second doctor reportedly told her that he could see three babies, leaving her and her husband surprised by the changing results.
During another hospital visit, particularly after she experienced bleeding, Olonode said a doctor examined her again and gave her an even more surprising update, there were four babies.
She recalled being stunned by the revelation and repeatedly asking the doctor to confirm what he had seen. According to her, the doctor eventually confirmed that he was seeing four babies.
Mother Of Quadruplets At 50
Olonode later gave birth to the quadruplets on March 6, 2026, three weeks before her 50th birthday. The children comprise two boys and two girls.
Sharing her joy during the testimony, she thanked God for preserving her life and bringing her safely through the pregnancy and delivery.
