Gospel singer Battleaxe unveils “Take Your Place,” a powerful worship single that expresses a heartfelt longing for God’s presence to fill the hearts of believers and the places where they gather to worship. Rooted in surrender and reverence, the song invites listeners to make room for God’s glory and encounter Him in a deeper expression of worship.
More than just a song, “Take Your Place” is a heartfelt prayer woven into an inspiring musical experience. With soaring melodies and deeply resonant lyrics, the track creates an atmosphere that draws listeners into intimate worship and communion with God. Inspired by the biblical promise that where two or three gather in His name, He is present among them, the song becomes a sincere expression of faith and a desire to see God’s presence revealed.
Battleaxe’s powerful vocals, complemented by rich instrumentation and an anthemic chorus, create an immersive worship experience that encourages surrender and invites listeners to seek God’s presence. Its message centres on the assurance that God meets His people in worship, bringing peace, strength, and renewed faith.
Speaking about the inspiration behind the song, Battleaxe shares, “My deepest desire with ‘Take Your Place’ is to remind everyone that God yearns to be present in our lives, our worship, and our hearts. It’s an invitation, a declaration, and a commitment to create space for His divine intervention and peace. We are simply asking Him to fulfill His promise and inhabit our praises.”
Since its release during the summer, “Take Your Place” has begun connecting with listeners within the gospel community and beyond, offering encouragement and pointing hearts towards a deeper relationship with God. Its message serves as a reminder of the importance of welcoming God’s presence into personal devotion, corporate worship, and everyday life.
“Take Your Place” is available on major digital streaming platforms. Listeners are encouraged to stream and share the song as they embrace its message of surrender, faith, and a deeper longing for God’s presence.

[Verse]
Lord, we’re here to meet with you
And we know your word is true
Let your glory fill this place
As we gather in your name
Let your glory fill this place
As we gather in your name
[Prechorus]
For where two or three are gathered in your name
You’ll be there
This is your promise, We know you are here
For where two or three are gathered in your name
You’ll be there
This is your promise, Lord we know you are here
[Chorus]
Take your place oh Lord
Take your place oh Lord
As we gather here today
Come and take your place
As we gather here today
Come and take your place
