– Tonto Dikeh Clarifies Faith Journey – Says She Knew God Since 17
Nollywood actress turned-evangelist Tonto Dikeh has clarified misconceptions surrounding her Christian journey, revealing that her relationship with God began at the age of 17.
The actress made the clarification during an interview on Real Talk With Kike, where she explained that her recent public involvement in Christian ministry did not mark the beginning of her walk with God.
According to Dikeh, many people have misunderstood the timing of her spiritual journey, assuming that she only embraced Christianity when she began speaking publicly about her faith.

“There’s a very big misconception about when I came out to when I gave my life to Christ,” she said.
Dikeh explained that she had maintained a relationship with God long before her emergence as a public figure in ministry, adding that she was once on the path to becoming a pastor.
“So I knew God at 17,” she stated, emphasising that her public declaration of faith should not be confused with the beginning of her spiritual journey.
The actress further explained that the period preceding her public ministry was a time of private spiritual preparation, during which she said she received personal instructions from God.

“When I came out was not the time when I rededicated my life to God,” she explained, noting that her experiences during that period helped prepare her for her public ministry.
Dikeh also recounted an experience involving a reverend who visited her fellowship and, according to her account, witnessed what she described as healings, miracles and prophecies.
Dikeh’s remarks come amid her growing public involvement in Christian ministry, as she continues to share her faith and spiritual experiences with her audience.
