For some worshippers, capturing videos serves as a way to preserve memorable moments or share them with others online. However, others believe that excessive phone use during worship can become a distraction from the purpose of the gathering.
The incident has renewed conversations about reverence, attention and appropriate conduct during Christian worship gatherings.
