Bible News: Why Did God Draw The Enemy's Attention To Job?

Then the Lord said to Satan, “Have you considered my servant Job? There is no one on earth like him; he is blameless and upright, a man who fears God and shuns evil.” – Job 1:8

Satan couldn’t have laid his hands on the life of Job, no less than he could have laid his hands on any child of God but God called his attention to Job’s uprightness.

Why will God do such a thing to a man upright in His sight, why will God want to draw satan’s attention to job so that satan could harm him?

…Because it was time for Job’s lifting!

I am compelled to prophesy into the life of someone reading this today or sometime later in the future that no matter how high you think God has gotten you, your best-yet is on the way!

Job had been upright before God to the point he made sacrifices at his children’s houses just in case God decides to visit the sins of his children on him. He had served God faithfully and the God who does not owe any man was ready to favour him, therefore he called satan’s attention to Job.

Every time God is ready to lift you, there will always be a test, not because God cannot give you what you want but to ensure that the blessing does not take you away from his ordained destiny for you, just in the same way every time you are to move to the next class, you have to go through an examination that proves you worthy of the next class.

The clueless satan bought into the bait and thus, Job’s test began.

Job was tested to the point that he was only saved by the flesh of his teeth and the fact that he still had breath, every other thing was touched.

My dear friend, what is the trial you are going through that makes you want to give up on God, makes you blame God like God is your chief security officer who you can query once any thing go wrong? He is using where you are right now to set you up for a greater glory, you just don’t see it in His perspective yet. God did not say you won’t go through test and trial but He did promise that He will be with you through it all.

Job endured his test, even when everything and everyone turned against him. He passed with flying colours and was given double of everything, including his years on earth!

If satan saw the latter part coming, he wouldn’t have tested Job in the first place and that can be your story as well. Don’t give in to him and thwart the well orchestrated scheme of God for your life. Everywhere you find yourself today is a lesson and a pillar of testimony for tomorrow. There is a lesson God is trying to teach you now. Don’t miss it!
