In him was life, and the life was the light of men.” – John 1:4
Someone tweeted “No life without a wife” and I was going to retweet the statement with “you mean without Christ?” but then I paused to reason out the statement.
The bible says he that finds a wife, finds a good thing, therefore to a some extent the tweet is true but what can be worse than a life without Christ?
In the world today, it’s become easy for folks to get in and out of marriage because they feel they have the option of divorce but who can divorce his own self?
Let’s assume things are not working the way you thought it will work, can you say to yourself, “I’m filing a divorce against you!” Certainly not!
Life without Christ is hard. This is not to say being in Christ exempt you from challenges of life but atleast you can go through knowing He will bring you through it and give you a better experience than the challenge you experienced. That in itself is peace of mind.
When Jesus and his disciples where in the storm. The presence of Jesus didn’t stop the storm from raging, as a matter of fact, Jesus allowed it till the disciples called him to help. This is similar to a life without Christ. He is always present but if you think he is far from you, then, who moved?
Who moved…hmmmm..God has never moved, cos of our desires we moved
