WOLE ONI, EBEN, BOUQUI, MIDNIGHT CREW BAG HONOURS AT 2ND ANNUAL NATIONAL GOSPEL AWARDS

The 2nd Annual Scepters National Gospel Awards held last night the 15th of February 2012 at Yard 158, Oregun Ikeja Lagos.

The event which was hosted by Larry Foreman and Bigvai saw performances from Nigerian gospels ministers such as Henrisoul, Tim Godfrey, Sammie Opkoso, Eben and comedians such as Holy Malam, Seyi Law, Omobaba amongst others.

The Scepters National Gospels Music awards is held annually to honor the men, women and companies whose discoveries and innovations have contributed in significant, outstanding and lasting ways to the Gospel Industry.

Some of the Winners in the music categories at the event include:

Best Afrobeat Artiste: Kayode Olusoji

Best Choral Group: Midnight Crew

Best Hip Hop & Rap: Bouqui

Best Female Artiste: Beebee

Best Native Artiste: Lanre Ola *Baju

Best Song of the Year: Blessing Olubanjo

Best Rock Artiste: Eben

Best Producer of the Year: Wole Oni

Special Recognition Award: Soji Isreal
