DO YOU HAVE THE PASSWORD? [II]

“Let your Kingdom come. Let your will be done, as in heaven, so on earth.”
– Mathew 6:10

There are mysteries in the word of God that the Holy Spirit is eager to show unto us but first we have to yearn for the word. The 2nd counter attack weapon or principle (for short) which we will be considering in our series is in the verse above – Mathew 6:10.

You will say what has God’s will got to do with weapon of attack, chill out, let me explain something to you.

Mathew 6:10 says let God’s will be done on earth as it is done in heaven. In our Monday’s study (Revelations Chapter Twenty One, Verse Four), we talked about living a bit of heaven here on earth. Now let me ask you, if God’s will in heaven is made by the word of God and this same word described the beauty of heaven in Revelations saying there will be no tears, sorrows and the former things will pass away, then is sickness, pain, poverty, diseases, strife and so on, done in heaven?

Certainly not! Heaven is full of Joy and peace, its a little wonder the first thing a newly converted christian experience is an unexplainable peace. Therefore if God’s will is done on earth as it is in heaven, then your life cannot (I repeat “CANNOT”) experience pain, poverty, sickness, death, disease and so on. Why? Because it is not done in heaven. Again, I’ll like to avoid realist argument by saying I have not ignored the fact that we live in a fallen world and while some things are inevitable, God’s word said He will keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed upon Him. (I am an optimist and that’s that!)

Yesterday, I gave my first argument but today I beg to replace that word with conviction. My second conviction in this our series is that God’s word is God’s will and God’s will is the same thing as His wish. Therefore, the wish of God for us is to prosper and be in good health even as our soul prosper. (It’s important for the soul to prosper but that’s another day’s topic).

Whatever it is you are going through that is not palatable right now, you can put this conviction into action by telling God; Father, you said your will be done on earth as it is in heaven, sickness, poverty etc, is not done in heaven therefore it cannot be done in my life in Jesus name – amen.
