modeleAsked about her salvation story, she said she decided to identify with Jesus after watching a scary burning-hell movie… Lol

“If that’s what’s going to save me from that (burning hell), Jesus I will love you forever!” She said and bursted into laughter.

The talented, witty and humourous singer Modele who brought us the hit song “Adara” shared with Gozzim, Arthur and Oge what she’s been up to in her 8 years of hiatus from the music scene.

Modele said she’s become a mother of 3 beautiful kids and has also been tending to her day job as an engineer. She talked about the effect “Adara”  – which was her first crossover song – had on the listeners and the wide acceptance of the track. Modele who gave credit to ace producer Cobhams Asuquo for the work confess that she did not expected the acceptance, neither did she believed Cobhams when he told her she was pioneering a new sound.

She talked about walking on Awesome Treasure project  with Jumoke Adenowo and also working on her sophomore album with her  band.

When asked if she would do anything different if she could go back in time, Modele answered saying she would trust God more.

“I was afraid of all sorts of things and fear is the opposite of faith… if there’s any idea God has put into your mind, people, let God be God. It’s not about our ability because in our weakness is strength is made perfect…”
