“For most certainly I tell you, whoever may tell this mountain, ‘Be taken up and cast into the sea,’ and doesn’t doubt in his heart, but believes that what he says is happening; he shall have whatever he says.”

This verse above, pushed back a little bit witnessed Jesus cursing a fig tree, then to buttress the fact that Jesus cursed the tree and went about His business, there was an interlude in the story which told the story of Jesus in Jerusalem driving out those who sold and bought in the Lord’s house.
As if that wasn’t enough, it was Peter who drew Jesus attention to the tree in the morning saying “Teacher, look! The fig tree which you cursed has withered!”
Jesus’ demeanor wasn’t that of surprised in His response, in fact it’s what we refer to now as laid back. He answered him saying; “C’mon Peter, have faith, this thing you see manifest now, I already saw it when I spoke the word.” (In Selah’s Revised Version… LOL).
The problem with most of us is the fact that we see prayer as the “means” to an end, while this is true, prayer is in most cases the “end” of the means! It is the declaration you make as evidence of what you have already received.
Yes I know there are various types of prayer and many of us haven make our request known to God, we often want to support God in the actualization of the prayer. I can just imagine God smiling and saying “Seriously, what does he think he is doing?!”
Why not let us take a cue from Jesus, develop your faith today. Say the word and go about your business, let God handle the way the manifestation will come about, afterall, His son Jesus is the way!
