“That person is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither— whatever they do prospers.”
– Psalms 1:3
It’s a simple rule but not everyone can follow through with it. There is more than enough wisdom in the word of God for success but can you open read and meditate on it every day?
I said it once before, that I have been to workshops, seminars and read books but it wasn’t until I started looking into God’s word that I started experiencing success. It wasn’t like I applied some big formula or deduced some kind of principles (although there are formulas and principles to be deduced), I was just interested. Yes, interest breeds curiosity and curiosity makes one search for more answers. Answers makes one reason and reasoning helps to learn new things. Learning brings about belief and belief forms a way of life. This became a habit and without me being aware of it, my life had already changed.
Oops! I just deduced a process from the above premises. Honestly, it wasn’t intentional, it’s just what the word of the Lord does. I wrote this before titling this message so if you see the above paragraph in the title, it is an afterthought.
It starts with Interest —-> Curiosity —-> Answers —-> Reason —-> Validating & Learning (New Things) —-> Belief —-> Character & Habit —-> Success (based on God’s word)
For the word of God, this is a continual process. The word of God is the truth. Therefore, the above process can only bring success as one applies the truth daily. The word of God is not just words, it is life and this is why the Psalmist in chapter 1 can say confidently that those who delight in the law (word)of the Lord shall prosper!
