Hello peeps! The kingdom work is moving and because of the multiple amount of posts per day, henceforth, our devotional will carry the name of its category in the heading. Thank you for all your support. 🙂

“Your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly”
– Matthew 6:18

The best thing that could happen to any man is for him to surrender himself for divine use; nothing on earth compares to it. The man who is fully surrendered for divine use joyfully serves His Lord whether in obscurity or limelight. The challenge with most people is, they are unwilling to serve where there is no stage light. They are not content to serve in secret.

It doesn’t matter where your place of service is; if you heartily serve, you will be publicly honoured by God. God positions people at different places to do different things so that His ultimate plan would be achieved. What matters most is, the name of God is glorified and His Kingdom of God is expanding.

When we think on the story of the Israelites, we are most likely no mention Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Joseph, Moses, Joshua, etc. Do the names Shiprah and Puah ring a bell? I bet you may not even know those names are in your bible, yet they played a significant role in ensuring that God’s plan for the Israelites became fulfilled. When Pharaoh ordered them to kill every male Israeli at birth, they refused to obey the king’s order. The part they played is not celebrated by many, but God took cognisance of it and rewarded them accordingly.

Friend, learn from these two midwives. Wherever God has placed you, make yourself a faithful Kingdom ambassador. Advance the cause of the Kingdom. Don’t sit there waiting for when you will brought to limelight; your service in the NOW is what determines if you will ever get there or not.

Be useful where you are now. The God who sees what is done in the secret will openly reward you.
