The Public Relations Director of Jaka Events, Cecil Quartey have announced that plans are ongoing for the 2013 edition of the Ghana Gospel Music Awards (GGMA) which has been scheduled for the last quarter of the year.
According to him, “It’s going to be bigger and more rewarding for the musicians, so the industry can improve. Shortlisting has already begun and nominations are ongoing to reward the musicians who have entertained and blessed us with their music over the years, ”
The maiden edition was held last year at the Accra International Conference Centre. Artistes such as No Tribe, Nicholas Omane Acheampong, Gifty Osei, Bernice Ansah, Cwesi Oteng amongst others gave spectacular performances with their ministrations.
The Ghana Gospel Music Awards is organised with the aim to positively influence and improve the gospel music industry.
