– Bargaining Prices To Exploit The Poor – Emmanuel Iren Warns
Pastor Emmanuel Iren has criticized wealthy Nigerians who aggressively bargain with poor traders despite having the financial capacity to pay their asking prices.
Iren, speaking in a sermon, questioned the practice of wealthy people haggling over small amounts with struggling traders, using the example of someone in an air-conditioned SUV bargaining over the price of plantain.

He said such behavior amounts to exploiting people who are financially vulnerable, particularly when traders are forced to return to customers out of desperation after initially walking away from a negotiation.
“Don’t exploit because you have bargaining power,” Iren said, stressing that financial prosperity should be reflected in how people treat others.

The pastor also challenged Christians to examine their character, noting that attending church and praying should be accompanied by positive changes in how they relate to others.
