Let the favor of the Lord our God be on us; establish the work of our hands for us; yes, establish the work of our hands.” – Psalm 90:17
I once heard one of the members of the group Mary Mary say, “you’ve gotta have something in your hands for God to bless.”
I agree very much with this. God won’t bless you if you turn on the idle mode. When you are praying for God’s blessings, you need to ask yourself, “what I’m I asking God to bless in particular?”
You can never pour water in a basket because you know the basket cannot hold it, so also, God will not pour out blessings into an empty vessel because the blessing won’t function on anything there. God blesses so you can bless others.
See blessings as the fertilizer or manure that will speed up the growth of a growing plant and multiply its increase.
I pray the prayers in Psalm 90:17 upon your endeavors today in Jesus name, you are blessed!
