It’s okay that a Christian starts his journey with what is being handed over to him from the mouth of his teacher but a Christian that remains in that place should check if he is growing spiritually.
Men will give you doctrines according to their personal interpretation as handed to them through the Spirit. Some will even hand you these doctrines in order to manipulate you or justify their philosophies.
The bible says you shall know the truth and the truth shall set you free. As you journey in your Christian race, meditating and reading the word, it’s inevitable that the level of your intake begin to shape your life so much that you begin to divide the word of truth. No one can hand you doctrines that is not scriptural because you will prove every word.
God was not exaggerating when He told Joshua to write the words on their door post, forehead, in their palms and everywhere because these words are more precious than gold. When you find gold, it has some value that can satisfy a part of your life but when you find this word, you find life itself.
