‘There To Here’ will be released by Tunde Esho on August 2nd and preceded by a single on 7th July. The album is a follow up to the 2010 EP release STAND OUT, which gathered a lot of publicity in the Irish media and also provided Tunde Esho with the outlet to tour Ireland. It might seem like Tunde Esho took an hiatus from music, because of the four year gap. In that time he has released several singles, a mixtape ‘New Path’, produced and engineered several singles and albums for Irish Artists and also picked up several awards, ‘Best Male Artist of the year 2011’, ‘100 Most Influential Africans in Ireland 2012’. He recently just performed at the Africa Day 2014 held in the Phoenix Park.
Sticking to the independent route Esho’s debut album is written by himself with help from Natural B, Trevor, Precious and Sammi Laleye all local Irish singer/songwriters. Also producing the entirety of the album apart from ‘Babylon’ co-produced by ‘Te Pharmacist’ popular for his work with Roc strong. ‘There to Here’ represents growth in Tunde Esho as an artist.
‘I avoided listening to new music during the making of this album so as not to be heavily influenced by the radio. This is easily the best piece of work I’ve put together’
