The Scepters Open Mic Experience music contest is going down live on Friday, 27th February, 2015 at the Main Auditorium of the University of Lagos, and as we have news from the organizers, the prizes and benefits for the contestants just got juicier.
Along with the N500,000:00 (five hundred thousand Naira) cash prize for the winner; N250,000:00 (two hundred and fifty thousand naira) cash prize for the 1st runner up; N100,000:00 (one hundred thousand naira) cash prize for the 2nd runner up and other consolation prizes for other participants, there has been inclusions of jaw dropping and mouth watering items tagged with the contest.
First, there is a reduction of participation fee from N5,000:00 (five thousand Naira) to N2,500:00 (two thousand Naira).
Second, the winner goes home with a record deal from Scepters Records.
Third, the winner is awarded the highly coveted Scepters trophy as the DISCOVERY OF THE YEAR ACT.

1. Record a one minute video of their songs (Solo or group acts, and this can be done with a phone camera)
2. Upload the video on someclub
3. Fill the online form
4. Pay the sign-up fee of N2,500:00 (two thousand five hundred naira) only
