Rev. Jesse Jackson’s Mother Helen Burns Dies At 91

Helen Burns Jackson, the mother of civil rights activist Rev. Jesse Jackson has died Monday in a Greenville, South Carolina, hospital.

Rev. Jesse Jackson shared the news with his twitter followers saying;

“My loving mother MrsHelenJackson has made her transition to be with God. My family thank you for your love & prayers. “

She was 91 according to the family and belonged to the Springfield Baptist Church.
