Pita is seen brandishing a machine gun in the latest post on his Facebook page and if you didn’t know the reason, SelahAfrik will tell you.
Pita is not trying to shoot down the city but he is aiming at some set of Nigerians — and for a good reason. Yesterday was Nigerian independence and Pita released a song in honour of the Nigerian heroes – both fallen and living.
The song “I’m Your Soldier” was not released for free download, probably why he restricted the sharing on platforms but it was released via the MTN Plus Music App.
The song speaks from the heart of a hero who talks of his passion and the resolution to fight for victory even if it cost his life. This song is dedicated to the heroes of Nigeria and also the soldiers, including those who have fallen in the battle against terrorism.
Pita said;
No one speaks or celebrates our soldiers who have died on our behalf, and those still protecting us while we sleep. On the day we celebrate our freedom and independence, I choose to celebrate these HEROES.”
