CAN declares Fasting & Prayer alongside Borno State Christians over Buhari’s health
A seven-day special fasting and prayer session over the health of President Muhammadu Buhari has been organised by the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) in conjunction with clerics drawn from various churches in Borno state.
The fasting and prayers which commenced on Monday, February 13, with Christians converging at various churches is to solicit God’s intervention for the speedy recovery and good health the president.
This follows the statement on February 10, by Evangelist Kwamkur Samuel, the director legal and public affairs of CAN, asking Christians to declare special praying time for Buhari and the nation.
In similar new, the minister of health, Prof Isaac Adewole, has said President Muhammadu Buhari and his doctors were the only set of people who could explain why the president chose to seek medical treatment abroad.
