– Leke Adeboye shade Daddy Freeze – and it backfired! The Redeemed Christian Church of God donated 7 schools in Ibadan and Pastor Adeboye‘s son, Leke Adeboye took it as an opportunity to take a swipe at controversial OAP and founder of the Free the Sheeple movement Daddy Freeze.
In a post on social media, Leke shared a screenshot of the news titled ” RCCG Donates 7 Schools in Ibadan”. He captioned:
“I’m sure they will not see this. Maybe they need to sell their wristwatches for glasses or come for a laying on of hands for healing of eyes and mind.”
In response, Daddy Freeze with the notoriety of always having a demeaning responses said:
“Dear Leke,
No need to sell my watches, I have already bought glasses and all I see is enterprise, false humility, private jets, lies, business centres, more lies, Pentecostal franchising, poverty, even more lies, pastor idolizing, spiritual harlotry and still more lies……. It’s all I see… maybe I need stronger glasses to see the tiny little giving, easily dwarfed by the large, expensive airplanes, monumental harvests and continuous streams of income from some of the worlds poorest people….

Laying on of hands??? The only things y’all need to be laying your hands on are your CVs! You need to find work, THE LOT OF YOU, starting from the top.”
He went further to quote from 2 Thessalonians 3:6.
OUR VIEW
The word of the Lord warns us to in Philippians 3:2-3 to:
“Watch out for those dogs, those workers of evil, those mutilators of the flesh! For it is we who are the circumcision, we who worship by the Spirit of God, who glory in Christ Jesus, and who put no confidence in the flesh—… ”
It also tells us:
“Be careful not to practice your righteousness in front of others to be seen by them. If you do, you will have no reward from your Father in heaven.” – Matthew 6:1
Therefore we should be careful of doing things out of provocation – to justify ourselves amidst criticism. RCCG did a good thing providing schools in Ibadan but when someone decided to wield it as a weapon against provocation, the good deeds suddenly becomes hypocritical. The intention may have been just, but it suddenly does not look as seeking the best interest of the beneficiaries but a way to justify amidst criticisms and accusations.
In a recent post, Pastor Poju Oyemade, senior pastor of Covenant Christian Centre, said:
“Beware of satanic provocations that have caused men to speak and to do things in retaliation which then brought collateral damage. satan is presently pushing this agenda, he used it on Moses and it cost him the promised land.
Psalm 106:32-33 “They angered him also at the waters of strife so that it went ill with Moses for their sakes: Because they provoked his spirit so that he spake unadvisedly with his lips.”
He used it also on David and that resulted in a plague.
1 Chronicles 21:1-7 “And Satan stood up against Israel and provoked David to number Israel and David said to Joab and to the rulers of the people, go, number Israel from Beersheba even to Dan; and bring the number of them to me, that I may know it……… And God was displeased with this thing; therefore he smote Israel.” Things are being thrown out simply to cause provocations that will lead many into trying to prove a point or correct an impression and by so doing disobey the commandment of God.””
HOW IT BACKFIRED
After the post by Leke Adeboye, a user commented saying the church took billions but is giving back thousands, Leke, in a sarcastic reply said:
“More than trillion self… more than all the banks in Nigeria can hold.”
Daddy Freeze screen-grabbed the response and asked Leke Adeboye if he is admitting that the church is acquiring more money than it should.
“Is Adeboye’s son Leke admitting here that the Church has taken in trillions, more than all the banks in Nigeria can hold??? 😳😳😳”
Leke responded by thanking Freeze for promoting an upcoming RCCG convention.
The battle between the personalities has persisted till now but Daddy Freeze had the last word as at the time of report. Wouldn’t it be better if Leke Adeboye didn’t respond?
SELAH AFRK, yOu have done weLL.
Thank you very much sir!
