– Nigerian Evangelist Calls Out Leke Adeboye For Dressing Like A “Gangstar”
A Nigerian Evangelist has called out the son of General Overseer of Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Adeboye over his dressing. According to him, Leke Adeboye dressed “like a gangster.”
The Evangelist, Victor Edet shared a pictured of Leke Adeboye, the son of pastor E.A. Adeboye, and questioned the way he supposedly wore his cap “I was shocked and short of words after seeing this picture, how can a Pastor be wearing a face cap this way?
“God of mercy, what is the church turning into? Leke Adeboye should be cautioned seriously and he should be called to order. You can’t be a Pastor and be dressing like a gangster.”

Victor Edet who had earlier made the news for calling out “Excess Love” crooner, Mercy Chinwo for her supposed seductive lifestyle also called on the Redeemed Christian Church of God to call Pastor Leke to order.
Reacting to the post by the Evangelist, many believed that he is taking the doctrine out of context.
According to John Sahz, there is absolutely nothing wrong with the dressing. He opined that the evangelist has made himself a demmigod judging matters on God’s behalf. “What’s your business? Even if he’s wrong, must u post it on social media or have you become a demigod who judges on behalf of Almighty God? The most annoying part is that you call yourself “EVANGELIST””
Olomo Olomo said; “I dont understand, because he’s a pastor means he should dress in a certain way always? How did his dressing defines his faith? U need to check inward and stop confusing people with your thoughts on how they dress. Leave the Church out of this, please.”
Daddy Freeze, OAP and leader of the Free the Sheeple movement, who is known to always be at a loggerhead with Leke Adeboye had somethings to say in his favour.
“There is absolutely nothing wrong with Leke’s dressing. If you have any issue with his doctrines address those, but speaking of his mode of dressing is beyond petty in my opinion. I think he is dressed well for a pastor, unless of course there is a scriptural dress code for pastors that I’ll like you to educate us on. And by the way it’s ‘short of words’ not ‘shut of words’ if there is anything that needs a ‘dressing’ overhaul; its your English,” Daddy Freeze said.
