TB Joshua: Evelyn Joshua To Become Head Of Synagogue (SCOAN)

The wife of Prophet TB Joshua, late Nigerian preacher and founder of the Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN), Evelyn Joshua, is poised to become the head of the Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN).

The elders of the church met recently and declared Evelyn Joshua to be the successor to the Nigerian televangelist Prophet TB Joshua.

“Someone must take charge immediately and give spiritual direction on the mode of service continuity. So much spiritual and financial efforts went into building SCOAN and it cannot just waste away,’’ a top aide said.

Evelyn Joshua has been the second in command of the church since she married the late prophet about 31 years ago. She met him in 1990. She had gone to meet him for counseling and spiritual guidance. TB Joshua proposed to her on the same day they first met after a 45-minute session.

Apart from preaching, Evelyn Joshua also offers counseling among the church followers. She confirmed the funeral arrangements of the late prophet when she received Lagos state governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu.

She said her husband’s death came as a surprise.

While speaking with some select journalists on Sunday, June 6, Evelyn said her husband ended his race prayerfully.

Prophet TB Joshua, a 57-year-old respected televangelist and philanthropist and head of the Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN) was confirmed dead on Sunday, June 6, in a statement released on the official Facebook page of his ministry.
