– Christians Dating Muslims – Reactions Trail Emmanuel Iren Stance
Mixed reactions have continued to trail comments made by Apostle Emmanuel Iren, the Lead Pastor of Celebration Church International, regarding Christians engaging in romantic relationships with Muslims.
The pastor shared his views while responding to a Christian lady who sought guidance about her relationship with a Muslim partner.
The woman explained that she has been in a relationship with the man for about a year, stressing that he is not deeply committed to Islamic practices and does not interfere with her Christian faith.

The lady asked, “He is a muslim, not a deeply rooted muslim, he is not against my Christian religion, he pushes me to do better and get closer to God, I am already 1year in, my parents do not like muslim, should I leave him?”
In his response, Emmanuel Iren cautioned against entering a relationship with the expectation of transforming a partner’s faith over time. He stressed that such assumptions can be spiritually and emotionally risky.
The cleric further noted that Scripture has already outlined clear standards for believers, citing the biblical admonition that Christians should not be “unequally yoked” with unbelievers.

Apostle Emmanuel Iren said, “You don’t go into shortlet and try to change the design , it is God who designed it and God’s standard is this, do not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers.”
