– Woman Makes Babies Homosexual – Pastor Julius Ekweozor

Nigerian cleric, Pastor Julius Ekweozor has sparked widespread reactions on social media following comments in which he claimed that a pregnant woman’s psychological state can influence a child to become homosexual, lame, or develop other conditions.

In a video circulating online, the pastor argued that the emotional and psychological experiences of expectant mothers play a significant role in shaping the physical and behavioural outcomes of their unborn children.

He claimed that prolonged emotional distress, fear, rejection and other negative experiences during pregnancy could affect a child’s future development, including their sexuality and physical health.

The remarks have generated mixed reactions across social media platforms. While some users agreed with the pastor’s emphasis on the importance of maternal well-being during pregnancy, others strongly rejected his comments, particularly his suggestion that homosexuality or physical disabilities could result from a mother’s psychological condition during pregnancy.

Medical and scientific research supports the importance of maternal mental health during pregnancy, noting that prolonged stress can affect pregnancy outcomes and aspects of child development.

However, there is no scientific consensus supporting the claim that a pregnant woman’s psychological state causes a child to become homosexual or directly results in physical disabilities such as lameness.
