– William Kumuyi Meets Pakistan’s Imam – Shares Message On Love
Pastor William F. Kumuyi, General Superintendent of the Deeper Christian Life Ministry, has met with Pakistan’s Grand Imam, Maulana Syed Muhammad Abdul Khabeer Azad, during his ongoing visit to the country.
The meeting took place at the historic Badshahi Mosque in Lahore as part of Kumuyi’s Global Crusade with Kumuyi (GCK) outreach in Pakistan. The encounter brought together two religious leaders from different faith traditions and focused on themes of love, peace, mutual respect and peaceful coexistence.
During the meeting, Kumuyi expressed appreciation for the Grand Imam’s welcoming disposition towards people from different religious backgrounds.

He described such openness as an expression of the kind of love that comes from God. Kumuyi emphasised that God’s love should go beyond words and translate into practical concern for other people. He noted that genuine love should motivate individuals to care for others, protect them and seek their wellbeing.
The Grand Imam also spoke about the need to remove hatred among people and replace it with love and mutual understanding.
He expressed his willingness to further strengthen the relationship, even suggesting that a major conference could be organised for Kumuyi.
The encounter has attracted attention online, particularly because of its interfaith dimension in Pakistan, a predominantly Muslim country.
