– Arome Osayi Should Apologize – Harrison Ayintete On Dishonor

A fresh controversy has emerged within Nigeria’s Christian community after Apostle Harrison Ayintete publicly criticized Apostle Arome Osayi over what he described as a pattern of dishonoring and publicly discrediting fellow ministers.

Ayintete, in comments shared on social media, questioned the criticism directed at social commentator VeryDarkMan (VDM) over his recent remarks about Arome, arguing that similar scrutiny should also be applied to how ministers speak about one another.

The controversy follows a series of exchanges surrounding Arome after an old clip of the Remnant Christian Network founder resurfaced online.

The clip, alongside recent comments attributed to the cleric, has generated debate over his views on other ministers and the standards he applies when evaluating ministries.

According to reports, Ayintete argued that Arome had previously criticized or questioned the legitimacy of other prominent ministers, including Pastor Joseph Prince and Dr. Creflo Dollar.

He also referenced Arome’s past comments about prophetic ministries and ministers with whom he disagreed. These claims are Ayintete’s characterization of Arome’s past statements and have become part of the current online debate.

Ayintete reportedly made it clear that he does not support VDM’s alleged insults or mockery directed at Arome. However, he questioned what he considered a double standard in the reactions to the controversy.

He argued that if Christians condemn the public dishonoring of ministers, the same principle should apply when respected ministers publicly criticize or dismiss other preachers.

Arome Osayi Should Apologize

Ayintete subsequently called on Arome to apologize for what he described as making the practice of publicly attacking ministers with whom he disagrees appear acceptable.

The development comes amid a wider controversy involving Arome and VDM. VDM had criticized Arome over comments concerning Nigeria’s identity and role in Christian revival and technological development.
