One of South Africa’s finest Gospel singer Sfiso Ncwanes shared a pictures of himself and his family on social media Instagram and what a cute family God has helped the Ncwanes put together.
Sfiso Ncwane didn’t use to have it this way being a boy with too many health issues like fainting, being struck by lightning and mentally challenged but God changed all that has he continued striving towards his dreams and in 2006 his efforts were crowned with a deal with CCP RECORDS which is part of EMI RECORDS. He had the opportunity to work with South African Gospel music greats like Rebecca Malope, Winnie Mashaba, Sipho Makhabane and others. He went on to release a DVD of his album, with his last album with EMI being titled ISIPHEPHELO SAMI.
Sfiso’s wife, Ayanda started from a humble background as well being a girl from a rural area of Durban who grew up with her grandmother. She entered for Miss Teen Durban which became her stepping stone to Miss Teen South Africa. She moved to Johannesburg in 2000 and took up a waitress job while going for auditions. She later landed minor roles in TV soaps Isidingo and Generations. Ayanda got a role of a Shangane girl in a show called Mzansi. The acting industry didn’t only open doors for her but it lead her into meeting her husband S’fiso Ncwane.
Sfiso Ncwane made music history last year when he bacame the first Gospel artiste to win the record of the year at the 19th MTN South African Music Awards (SAMA) for the single “Kulungile Baba”. When asked about it, Sfiso simply said that when he recorded the song, he was not in control — God was in control.
