” …only by dying could He break the power of the devil, who had the power of death. Only in this way could He set free all who have lived their lives as slaves to the fear of dying.”
– Hebrews 2:14-15

ultimate-victoryNo matter what the situation is, God’s story always ends in victory. Still talking about these times, which are Kairos moments when God is suddenly rewarding the faithful, I want you to know that with God, there is no dying.

Yes, there is no dying. The word of the Lord says, if Jesus did not die and resurrected, then our hope would have been in vain and we would have been the most miserable amongst men but thank God Jesus died and resurrected.

I know someone somewhere reading about these messages of the kairos moments may feel down because he has lost someone and there is no bringing the person back. I want to point out that do you know most of Jesus’ disciples died the most horrible of all kinds of death? So what made them feel like they had hope even though they died?

The disciples hope was based on the glorious victory of Jesus over death, and even though man may destroy their flesh, they cannot die because of the glorious promise of the better city, a place better than this world — the new Jerusalem.

The world we live in is limited and it confines our thoughts within it’s limit, but the phronesis (maturity) we have through the death and resurrection of Christ makes us assured of better things to come, as a matter of fact, it assures us of our immortality. This is the ultimate hope that even if our flesh is destroyed we live on .

It’s never easy to loose a beloved but we can be assured that God will keep His words. The just — the bible says — shall live by faith.
