Yesterday, I shared how I caught a beautiful glimpse of heaven. Where pure love abound and no one doing for his own motive but everyone looking out for the interest of his neighbour.
It has become a burden in my heart these days the ingenuity of love, even amongst Christians. The bible clearly stated that we should bear each other’s burden but “diplomacy” as the world has coined, states that you should be nice to who you can benefit from.
This makes it one step more difficult to envision heaven here on earth and as Selwyn Hughes puts it, “we are living in a fallen world,” hence we need a picture of heaven for our lively hope.
It’s so amazing that such simple gesture of kindness towards another is one of the things that propels hope in us but the world lacks abundance of it, therefore people are walking around with a load on their shoulder and instead of getting relieved of the load, we add more to the burden… Little wonder there is so much evil and wickedness in the world.
For this is not that others may be eased and you distressed, but for equality. Your abundance at this present time supplies their lack, that their abundance also may become a supply for your lack; that there may be equality.” – 2 Corinthians 8:13-14
