Taiwo Oladoye Featured On Saturday's Newswatch Times

Taiwo 222223Multi-award winning singer Taiwo Oladoye who recently released 3 smashing videos for the singles “Shake Up The Heaven”, “Big, Strong & Mighty” and “As I Sing” was on Saturday April 18th interviewed by Newswatch Times where she talked about how she overcame the challenges and discouragements of being a Gospel artiste.

Taiwo said:

“Yes, it [being a gospel artiste] can be discouraging. But it is better to remain focused on your dream, follow God’s leading as you pay the price and trust God to bring the best out of every situation for you.”

Speaking about varying genres of music and diversifying styles, just like she did with her 3 new videos and her album, Taiwo said:

“Yes, I can [diversify style] …[Hip Hop] is one of many forms through which you express your musical idea. The fourth track of my debut album, ‘No be me, Na God,’ has elements of hip hop in it.

Taiwo Oladoye is known for exploring the possibilities that styles can offer in music. Her latest videos cut across various genres including Highlife, Rock and Jazz.

Taiwo is elated about the reception of the new videos that went viral last week when they were released. She revealed to SelahAfrik that the videos are meant to wrap up work on her debut single while she prepares for her sophomore.
