Heirs Life Assurance has appointed Pastor Jerry Eze, founder and lead pastor of Streams of Joy International Ministry, as an Independent Non-Executive Director on its board.
According to the company, the cleric’s appointment is part of its efforts to expand financial inclusion and accelerate insurance adoption by strengthening public trust, consumer education and long-term financial resilience across Nigeria.
The company said Eze brings to the board a strong background in community engagement, value-based leadership and social impact.
Heirs Life said Eze’s influence and experience working with communities would support its efforts to make insurance more accessible and relevant to Nigerians.

Eze is the founder and lead pastor of Streams of Joy International Ministry and the convener of New Season Prophetic Prayers and Declarations, popularly known as NSPPD, a digital prayer platform with a large following in Nigeria and beyond.
Beyond his ministry activities, Eze is the founder of the Jerry Eze Foundation, a philanthropic initiative that provides housing support and grants to vulnerable and underserved communities.
Speaking on the appointment, Chairman of Heirs Life Assurance, Tony Elumelu, said Eze brings “an exceptional combination of integrity, influence, and a deep understanding of people and communities.”
