– Church Hindering Cultural Transformation – Apostle Femi Lazarus
Apostle Femi Lazarus, founder of Light Nation Global, has sparked conversations across social media and Christian circles after stating that the church has become Nigeria’s biggest obstacle to culture shaping.
Speaking during a recent sermon, the cleric argued that many Christians have withdrawn from influential sectors of society, leaving key areas of culture and public discourse to be shaped by individuals and ideologies that may not align with Christian values.
According to Lazarus, the church’s reluctance to engage actively in fields such as media, entertainment, education, governance, technology, and business has weakened its ability to influence societal values and national development.
